There had been made a visit by the delegation from Association "RusChlor" to People's Republic of China from March 11 through 15, 2024.

Chinese company, an associate member in RusChlor, Jiangsu ANCAN Technology Co., Ltd. made up the host party for the visit. ANCAN is a highly reputed, well-known, high-end firm professionally engaged in the R&D and Design Engineering works in the field of electrochemical equipment. The company is also routinely implementing the projects for Chlor-Alkali industries all over the world on a turnkey basis.

In so doing ANCAN R&D has successfully developed a fully company – owned membrane chlor-alkali cell project codenamed “ANC” making up for a fully ecologically clear engineering solution for the chlor-alkali electrolysers. The ANCAN – made products is currently being sold to 24 countries and regions of the world.

In addition to the company’s works in the field of the chlor-alkali industry issues ANCAN is engaged in both the researches and developments in the fields of the electrochemical technologies in general and manufactures the equipment for solving in particular such rather practical tasks as disposition of the so called “by product salts”, electrolysis of water aimed at generating hydrogen, so called “organic electrolysis”, wastewater treatment, and hydrometallurgy.

There had been raised and discussed at the meetings during the visit quite a few issues felt in the mutual cooperation including those linked to the current Russian legislation governing the activities in the fields of industrial safety, equipment and technical devices certification in supplying them to the territory of the Russian Federation. In particular the parties had discussed among other things the possibilities existing for RusChlor to assist ANCAN in their both adapting their relevant technical documents to the requirements imposed by the Russian legislation and interacting with their Russian clients residing in the Russian territory.

In addition to the said above the Russian visitors had met the top managers of China Chlor-Alkali Industry Association (CCAIA). In so doing the parties had discussed both the outcomes of the parties’ cooperation and the perspectives for its future.
