Russian Chemists Union has been holding the aforesaid prestigious competition for a few last years in a row. Various Russian chemical industry companies from the biggest holdings to the medium- and small-sized businesses are used to taking part in the aforesaid prestigious competition. In the course of the competition the Jury evaluates the nominees under more than a hundred criteria most of which being linked to such fields of the competing companies’ activity as the occupational safety, staff health protection, corporate social responsibility, and environment protection. In so doing, the contestants’ figures of both production output and financial performance are also taken into consideration though.
So, Volgograd “Kaustik” has outperformed all the other contestants competing under the category of corporations, holdings, and corporate groups anyway. The said achievement should be partially accounted for by the circumstance that the facility has been steadily raising its spending made on the occupational safety projects. Suffice it say in this connection that the facility’s costs being considered had risen from 246.2 million RBL spent in the year 2017 to hefty 331.8 million RBL spent last year. Another important point in this connection has been made by the circumstance that the facility is also used to steadily rising its expenditures made on the environment protection projects. In so doing they had risen the expenditures from 373.6 million RBL spent in the year 2017 to 476.8 million RBL spent along these lines last year.
Here are the first-priority tasks that the facility and its staff have been successfully performing for over half a century time: steady, smooth function of all the manufacturing divisions making up the sophisticated technological process fine tuned at Volgograd “Kaustik”, social partnership set up and functioning at the facility in such a way as to provide its employees with both the competent health care service and training services aimed at heightening their professional skills, regular cooperation involving the informational exchange set up and going on between the management of the facility and industry-specific schools of both the region and whole Russia, lessening of the footprint made by the production process on the environment. The aforementioned achievements are evidenced by the Kaustik’s frequent prevailing over all the other contestants at prestigious industry specific competitions both regional and all-Russian. Suffice it to say in this connection that in addition to competition “Five stars: Chemical Industry Leaders” JSC “Kaustik” has been declared a winner of the regional stage of all-Russia competition “Russian Enterprise of High Social Efficiency”. It is also worth noticing in this connection that Volgograd “Kaustik” Production Director Mr. Vitalij Rigert was declared a winner of federal competition “Manager of the Year” under category “Industry” in this year’s October.
