There was held by Association “RusChlor” on June 02 through 03, 2026 its annual 19^th International and Industry-wide Conference “Chlorine and its Derivatives 2026” on premises of Moscow downtown five star Hotel “Balchug” in the hotel’s conference hall “Vladimir”. The event was both arranged and staged by Association “RusChlor” in cooperation with Moscow LLC “National Chlorine Safety Centre” at the assistance of both Federal Service for Ecological Technological and Atomic Supervision (main State regulator “ROSTEKHNADZOR”), Russian Chemists Union, and Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

The conference was attained by 115 people representing more than 57 legal entities. There were the top managers of all the 13 Russian acting chlor-alkali facilities making up the RusChlor’s full-membership as well as the representatives of 14 associate members in RusChlor among the attendees. The conference were also attended by the high-ranking officers of the Federal Executive Bodies, engineering companies’ specialists, fittings and fixtures vendors representatives. It is also worth noting in this connection that, apart from companies incorporated in Russia, legal entities registered in the Russian Federation and governmental agencies, specialists from Belarus, the People's Republic of China, and India have also participated in the conference.

Over the course of two days, the Conference participants heard and discussed 25 reports on the problems of sustainable operation and development of the Chlor-Alkali subindustry of the Russian chemical industrial complex. The tasks and ways of modernizing the production technology of chlorine and caustic, as well as chlorine processing products, were considered, the domestic engineering potential was assessed, and the need to create an industry research and design center was discussed.

Based on the results of the work, the Conference participants made a Decision, which will be published on the website after editing.
